We are the Outer Mancunians and we are competing in this years Mongolia Rally. Our aim is to drive from Manchester to Ulanbaatar in Mongolia and hopefully raise lots of money for mongolian charities and our chosen UK based charity Manchester Kids.
There are no support vehicles, there are no prizes for getting there first, and sometimes there are no roads!  We have bought a Mitsubishi Pajero for £700 (left) and we will fund the trip mainly ourselves. We are asking people and companies to donate to either one of our charities, Save the Children (Mongolian projects) or Manchester Kids. If you make a donation through our justgiving page the money goes directly to the charity and they also get the gift aid which can make a £10 donation worth £11.93 to the charity.
All the money we raise goes directly to the charity, and not to the costs of our trip. However, if you would also like to help cover our costs of driving you can buy us some petrol/give us some free products to auction for charity/free products to use along the way/offer us a discount or make a cash donation to our expenses.
